Matthews makes a point, indicts himself?
The man who has been one of the driving forces in the never-ending Democratic Primary, now says… The Media created “delusion” that Hillary can win.
Ya think?

Matthews was saying something similar last night.
But I don’t know that I’d say the media created it — the Clinton camp did a spectacular job of getting the media to keep her illusion of viability alive. It has only been fairly recently that they’ve started to point out the math (win big or go home) problem. There will be a point where the media will decide it is no longer drinking the kool-aid here, but they’ve been at the spigot alot longer than they would have been for any other candidate. An advantage of being a Clinton, I suppose.
I love Chuck Todd. He’s been pointing out the math for weeks. Everyone around him nods, says that’s interesting, and goes on to ask, “can HRC hold her own in…”
Clinton set the bar (again and again), but the media propped it up.
The way the math breaks down, Obama isn’t going to win either. With only 408 delegates remaining, he would have to garner about 80% of the votes to reach the required 2025. That just ain’t gonna happen! This is the system that the Dems set up. They made the bed and now must sleep in it.
Clinton should not drop out and should take this thing all the way to the convention. Where, by the way, even pledged delegates can vote as they choose!
This is still anyone’s race! Deal with it.
it’s great to have Limbaugh stop by….
A.
We’ll deal with it and then we’ll kick your sorry butt in November.
Why is no one talking about the faulty voting machines. Professor Mark Miller at NYU and others state without a doubt…this election will be stolen! Some places in PA didn’t have Obama’s name on the ballot, Some machines were broken, not enough same ole game. Those monitor called some voters the “fleeers”, because they wouldn’t stick around in the long lines….now don’t tell me that Nutter and Rendell had nothing to do with that. There is no mechanism in PA, to check the machines!
Bundy got it right it takes 2025 delegates to lock up the nomination so for him to get it the superdelegates which are nothing but party hacks have to support him. this also holds true for Hillary however Matthews and the rest of the main stream media keep saying that this is the only way Hillary can win with out pointing out that it holds true for both.
The problem for Clinton is that she is going into the end game behind on “non-superdelegates” no matter what.
So if the supers break to Clinton it looks like the party hacks are stealing the nomination.
Which, let’s be honest, would be an accurate description.
At the end of the day Obama will hold the lead in pledged delegates – this is a race based on delegates. In order for HRC to win super delegates would have to overturn ‘the will of the people’. This scenario isn’t likely.
Maybe you could explain how super delegates rationalize this decision to Obama supporters? Careful with the insults… HRC needs our vote. She can’t win without us.
Because she wins the Big states that the dem’s need to beat McCain and so far Obama shows that he can’t win them. Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Florida so all you have to do is the math and then ask yourself do I want to win or feel good
Obama can win in red states, blue states, big states small states, north states, south states, my states and your states.
He helps downticket dems across the country – while Clinton hurst downticket dems. So if the superdelegates use their heads instead of their finely tuned “fear bones” Obama is the easy choice.
Truth –
You’ve been so beaten up by republicans that your fear is holding you captive. Let it go dude.
Lay down your burden.
Ahh… the electability argument. Ain’t gonna fly as an excuse to give the nomination to the person with fewer pledged delegates. In fact, it will rip the party in two.
I also have a problem with Ohio and Florida. I no longer view them as swing states. They are red in my book, but you may keep them on your list. My list includes Colorado, Missouri, Wisconsin and Virginia plus ALL the traditionally blue states.
The key is to win if Mickey Mouse has the best chance of winning then that’s who the super delegates should support wanting to feel good and lose is a fools game you keep saying that the states i mentioned are not important but they are the ones who will elect our next president.
And while we were on the subject of Matthews i notice McCain’s people know how to play him like a puppet They come out against an ad in North Carolina asking the Repub party to pull it because it is offencive against Obama and Matthews and the other main stream media are now going to run it for them by claiming to show the rest of us just what offended McCain. proving just how dumb they are and how smart McCain is he pulled this trick before against Mitt.
No Jason it’s a fact that the Regan Dem’s ran to him and his party over one issue and one issue alone BUSING. Even the Unions went with him over this and affirmative action. So if you think that times have changed so be it. remember it was your guy who told the truth in San Fran that small town folk are nothing more than gun toting religious bigots
I didn’t say your states were unimportant, but, come on… Ohio? Florida? If Hillary is counting these states in her column she’s in trouble.
Also, you go on and on about Obama’s electability problem, but you say nothing about her’s. Have you asked yourself why republicans are only attacking Obama? Not one word against Hillary. God, they are even voting for her. Doesn’t this bother you?
And this idea that all the Clinton baggage has been rummaged through? Are you kidding me?
You want to talk about electability? Fine. I know my candidates problems. Do you know yours?
Pandora you had a piece the other day about your girl Bitch slapping Joe However I noticed tonight on David Gregory show she brought up the Ad that McCain commanded and had David run it. So it now appears that Matthews isn’t the only dumb ass on MSNBC. And as far as Hillary’s electability goes at least she knows how to fight back Obama even today is still moaning about the ABC debate
