I’m not surprised that Senator “I was for Blue Water Wind before I was against it” is trying to move away from the transparently corrupt Harris McDowell.
Statement by Citizens for Clean Power in response to Copeland announcement:
Today, Sen. Charlie Copeland agreed with Citizens for Clean Power that Sen. McDowell should release all documents responsive to our request. I’ve requested that the documents be provided by May 2, 2008.
We’ve asked for documents that focus on the price of the McDowell hearings – money that was authorized by someone, payable to some persons, for some unknown services and costs, and paid in some unknown amounts. Taxpayers await the Committee’s response.

What a low risk fraudulent move by Copeland. What Copeland needs to do is come clean and admit that he has been working with McDowell to derail the Blue Water Wind deal.
