Scotch Tasting 5/16
As Delaware’s Hottest Blogger I also have a Wine Tasting Group that has gathered a little bit of press. We are putting down the wine bottles for a night and hosting a Scotch tasting. This is not some cheesey affair either. Riannon Walsh of Celtic Malts will be hosting the event. We will have food and be sampling 6 different Scotches from around the world. Riannon is the author of Whisky Dreams: A Culinary Journey Through the World of Single Malt Whiskies. She also was featured in an article from the Inquirer Jan 2008
The event is $40 and you will also be given a special gift. A whiskey glass made in Italy that is pattened specifically for enhancing your Scotch drinking experience. Drop me a line if you want to attend. It will be at a home in Trolley Square.
Mmm, I love Scotch, Scotchy Scotch Scotch! Will you be able to drink it, or are you doing it the snooty proper way? (For all you uncultured peasants out there, that means pouring a bit into a test tube, adding water to release the aroma, and then snorting the result vigorously. Not as fun as drinking it, natch.)

Kavips, you are right. Donviti just has trouble dealing with reality sometimes… It is traumatic when your whole reason for being has been taken from you.
Can we count on you for the scotch tasting? I’ll be there, so you will at least get some exposure to hottness, if that’s what you were looking for.

DonVD, I would love to sit around with you and bunch of other pretentious windbags and drink scotch and feel important! We can bash republicans and try to figure out how we can stop “allowing people to have opinions WE know are wrong!” Then, before the night is over, you can figure out how you can make up for all of the thousands of innocent Iraqi children that YOU helped murder! Man, it will be great! Because when you really think about it, nothing says I am sorry for murdering your child like a scotch tasting!
