Happy Mission Accomplished Day
Michael Castle slept while the Iraq war was being planned and launched by Republican maniacs. He cheered it on in its earlier more popular stages, but now he ignores the war like an unpleasant smell at an otherwise lovely dinner party.
I have nothing but scorn and contempt for Castle. He may mention the war once or twice over the next few months as he goes through the empty pantomime of re-applying for his job, although I doubt it.
Why bother?

He wasn’t sleeping; he was having a 7 year ‘senior moment’.
he will only mention it once or twice because the limited press we have in Delaware will not ask him over and over and over until he gives an actual answer
You got that right.
I wonder what it is like to live in a place with a working press?
You’d get more results asking “I wonder what it was like to live in the past when we had a working press.”
We should be very worried about terrorists and how our government determines who they are.

I bet we could get more competency from the mid-day crew at McDonald’s!

Mandela on a Terrorist Watch List is likely a Dick Cheney Production — Cheney did vote against a resolution calling for the release of Mandela when Cheney was in the House.
Called his ofice last June and was told he felt the amount of military personnel killed and maimed in the next year would be worth it. Planning on caling back next month, quoting the numbers and reasking the question!
