In the over-heated “tit for tat” of trying to call out Delmarva Power and Harris McDowell for their greed and corruption it is easy to lose sight of the fact that a great many people have committed much more than I have to the cause of creating a more healthful and sane energy future for our state.
I have heard and seen some crass stuff this morning, from people who think nothing of taking a tragedy and turning it into criticism of Bluewater Wind. Bluewater Wind only chartered the boat for research. Two captains were in charge. They were experienced operators of this type of vessel. I am proud to support the offshore wind project and the people who have sacrificed so much to bring it to Delaware. If you want to honor their efforts, call your Senator today and urge him or her to vote YES to HCR38. Approve the Bluewater contract.
