    You have to admit my excitement about the Unicity stop at Middletown was a departure. Can you imagine the others being excited about John Waters, Sandra Barnhard and The Fixx? I think…NOT!

    The same wingnut crap just sounded different coming from a sleek Sussex burgher. Dave is a timeless example of the downstate Delaware Republican pol, same as I remember years ago.

    I’ll give Burris credit though, he didn’t push social conservatism. He didn’t fight it, but he was at least neutral on it.

    And he was great about allowing dissenting comments. No matter how many times you proved his economic theory du jour wrong, he’d be back next week with the same thing.

    The place is a lot duller without that jerk, though. Nobody to fight with or insult. It’s not the same.
