Obama v. McCain in Terms of Technology

Filed in National by on June 5, 2008

PC Magazine has compiled a list of top technology issues and where the candidates stand on them.  Among the list is Net Neutrality, H1B visas and intellectual property protection.  As technology advances we are going to need a President that can understand and adjust to the changing landscape.  I think this is another place where Obama will beat the hell out of McCain.

How much technology (excluding medical devices) do your relatives 70 and older use?  Do they “get it?”

Bush calls google “the google”. Bill Clinton refers to Youtube as “movies”, and while I am NOWHERE near seventy, my fourteen year old handles all my computer problems… along with LG.

McCain states that Net Neutrality is a very tough issue. In my experience, whenever a Republican says something is tough or hard it means that he knows the right thing to do but he’s going to vote for the wrong thing.

    Too true, Rebecca.

New McCain slogan: It isn’t easy being green.

(Who picked out that horrible olive green backdrop on Tuesday night?)

If you want the same…vote for McCain.
