Sorry. These posts are so weekend-y.

My apologies – but I’ve been busy breaking Donviti’s first rule of hamburger grilling with my nephews in town for the weekend.

PS. I’ve been meaning to give props to Nancy “vocal minority” Willing. Paul Clark gave her a backhand-five when he was interviewed by Loudell.

  1. Nancy Willing says:

Thanks Jason. Someone called to say that he also got air time with Watson on WILM. Al Mascitti said that he must have had a sit down with the WNJ to juice them up for their softy editorial.
One of the problems with where things stand right now is the laxity of rules for lobbyists on the county level. George Smiley this year ramped up the amount of money/inkind gift value that council could recieve without reporting it. I think he increased it to $50, as in a nice meal with drinks.
But there is no registery of lobbyists as far as I can tell. And most of the people on the email were what I would consider lobbyists whose long-held business plan has included the very amendments attached to that email.
My best guess is that the attachment was written by Pam Scott sent from her Saul Ewing office computer and Clark got the resulting tag on his email after having attached the document.
He has vowed over and over again that he and his wife don’t discuss ‘work’. He should resign.

It stinks. Clark’s claims that “most people” don’t mind the county putting developer needs ahead of eveything else is disgusting.

    Give him hell.

it’s ok if it is for the kids, they need to eat crap so when they get older they can appreciate the finer things

  4. jason330 says:

That is a relief. Thank you for the indulgence Hamburger Pope.

  5. No Name for Privacy says:

Maybe Rep. House Plant’s call for the return of the whipping post isn’t such a bad idea after all.

Kudos to Nancy…keep up the good work!
