Windpower Political Theatre on Wednesday
We are at a crossroads again. The legislature is still dragging its feet on giving Russ Larson permission to approve the Bluewater Wind deal. We need to get this done.
On Wednesday, at 6:30AM, I am planning to be down at legislative hall to plant 150 pinwheels to represent the 150 wind turbines that have been proposed by Bluewater Wind. The windmills will be planted so that the legislators cannot miss them when they show up for work.
Why 6:30AM? So that we can all be done and back at work by 9AM. I know that it is an inconvenience, but is anyone would like to join me, let me know in the comments and I’ll see you down there.
I already told you I was in. let me know when and where to meet up.
6:30? I don’t think the hangover will be burned off by then.
looks like sunrise is at 5:38 that morning, perhaps you should make it closer to 6 that we get started down there.
I’m seriously thinking about this. I’m a little hung up – possibly hung-over – on the hour and 15 min. drive. I’ll email you if I can make it.
hey guys, there is a deal announced today! click over and read the press announcement on DE Way.
then what are we going to do with 150 pinwheels?
Take the pinwheels to the press party on the boardwalk and give them out to kids.
