I just got this email from Full Tilt Poker:
Dear Jason330,
Last week, the Congress considered a common-sense bill to save your right to play poker. This important bill was defeated, and according to our records, your Representative cast the deciding vote against it!
As the Poker Players Alliance has been warning since last week, federal bureaucrats are about to implement regulations that would ban “unlawful internet gambling” — but the bureaucrats can’t define what this vague term means! If these regulations go into effect, your right to play the great game of poker, at the time and place of your choosing, could be snuffed out forever.
Representative Michael Castle had the chance to vote on a proposed law that would have forced the bureaucrats to define what they mean by “unlawful internet gambling” before they could ban it. That proposal would have saved the future of poker. But your Representative turned his back on poker players, and cast the deciding vote against this common-sense proposal.
That means Representative Michael Castle cast the deciding vote against your right to play poker. This vote was a slap in your face, pure and simple.
Your Representative is back home this week for the July 4th recess, and he needs to hear your voice loud and clear. Send a message that you are not happy with this betrayal by calling your Representative’s local office today.
Call your representative’s office at 302-428-1902. Tell them you’re a voter and a proud poker player, and that you are disappointed that Representative Michael Castle cast the deciding vote against your right to play poker. Tell them that poker is not a crime!
If Michael Castle is not your representative, please contact your local representative regarding this issue, and spread the word so that others can help fight for our right to play poker.
Sincerely,
Team Full Tilt
They don’t realize that I’m used to being slapped inthe face by Mike Castle.
