So you KHN fans don’t have to try to find that other old thread when you want to say Karen is the bee’s knees or something to that effect.

  1. Karen for Congress Supporter says:

KHN is the hardest working candidate I have ever volunteered for!

I bleive the Primary is a slam dunk for her (not taking any chances though…workin’ there too). Polling shows her to be closing in for the General .

If you missed her fundraiser last week too bad. It was the best food anywhere; the trio blew out some fine tunes and the vocalist was just plain fine.

That heavy weight Dem. City Committee Chair and (future) President of Council Theo Gregory turned out as well as Councilman Charles Potter, Jr., other supporters seen include Mat Marshall, Read Scott, Nancy Willing, Gerry Fulcher, Liz Allen, Mike Matthews, reps. from labor, and a host of others. All chowin’ on shrimp & salmon goodies and tapping their toes.

A number of her supporters were in Dover that evening representing ‘the people’ on S.B. 265.

Obviously absent, and missing, Big Al M.

Obviously present and seen wearing a KHN lapel sticker one elected Republican who, for good reason, will remain nameless.

Sorry you missed it. Donations are still very welcome…don’t be shy.

  2. Al Mascitti says:

Use of real names welcome, too. Don’t be shy. As is quoting from the polls, instead of just giving us meaningless info like “closing in for the general.”

The only politician I will work for is Kowalko. Don’t look for me at anyone else’s fund-raiser. And, once more for those of you who still don’t get it, hanging out at such events is not my job, and I have exactly zero interest in it if someone isn’t paying me.

  3. jason330 says:

Great to hear about the campaign’s momentum.

  4. Karen for Congress Supporter says:

Officially we are working on the Primary. No sense in quoting stats until that’s over and we pounch on the General.

Mr. Al I knew you’d be ticked when you heard about the fundraiser. I just found out your invitation got lost in the mail and was ‘returned to sender.’ Sorry about that 🙂

  5. jason330 says:

…and we pounch on the General.

That’s what I call found poetry.

  6. delawaredem says:

KHN supporter, please email me the polling you speak of. I would love to read it offline. The one thing about DE politics is the lack of polling in the first state.

  7. selander says:

Pounch was the guy from CHiPs, right?

  8. can someone email the TIP page and let me know if the Carpet matches the drapes on this chick?

AS DHB I need to know this sort of thing before I go supporting a candidate….

  9. delawaredem says:

    Dude….not cool.

  10. delawaredem says:

I guess I have to put up the standard disclaimer:

“The statements of DHB do not represent the views of Delaware Liberal or any of its other contributors.”

    LOL

  11. No Name for Privacy says:

J I stand corrected. Pounce! I erred on ‘bleive’
    to. Believe (there that’s better).

    RE: Polling numbers….not presently available.
Sorry if I got you all excited.

  12. sorry DD I will formally apologize

  13. I’m sorry, I meant to ask if there was carpet or hard wood?

  14. and for the record, for the sake of fairness I’d be curious about the men that walk the halls of Congress for the state of Delaware, but well, let’s be honest, we all know that biden’s has plugs and the rest of them are gray

  15. Dominique says:

What do you expect, DD? He is 12, after all.

  16. liz allen says:

Karen is a strong candidate. Her issues are exactly what voters are concerned about. I agree with her hard work ethic, and her honesty.

I heard her polls were doing great, but I haven’t heard any candidate publish their private poll numbers. You can bet Castle has done the polls, maybe he would divulge his numbers.

My question is about campaign signs, I believe there is a law that campaigns can’t post signs on highways until 30 days before the election. Obviously many candidates are breaking the law. Been down to Sussex County lately? Signs everywhere. Where’s Deldot and their fines for signs? Do we want to elect candidates who violate campaign rules? If they can’t grasp laws on the books, should we trust them to make new ones?

  17. …and we pounch on the General.

That’s what I call found poetry.

    *
(I wish I could create the laughing icon…this will have to do 🙂 )

  18. I’ll add a few pols who sauntered into KHN’s event that were noted by me (and I got there late late late)
Karen Weldin-Stewart and her greasy opponent gReed both showed up. Paul Clark was hanging out and when I arrived, well, let’s say he left soon afterwards.
Mr. Next County Executive Gordon was there too!!

  19. Liz is subtley asking someone downstate to bust Mike Miller for putting his old signs all over the highway median strips.

KHN is a great candidate. Let’s hope that she gets some face time with Mikey in debate.
    Oh yeah!!

  23. Joe Cass says:

Oh Traci! I had just the same sex for you! He/she will be so disappointed. Sorry you had to find out about the Delaware “way” like this. Please drop us a line from your high horse.

  24. pandora says:

We do have a good public education system, Traci, which after reading your post might be something you’d be interested in.
