MD Wants In On Our Wind Energy
Nobody could have predicted this…
Maryland has opened energy supply talks with a Delaware offshore wind developer, hoping to tap into green energy from an expanded wind farm off Rehoboth Beach.
State Energy Administration officials in Maryland said Wednesday that options now under review include using Bluewater’s proposed turbine complex to power all of Maryland’s state and county buildings, and possibly drawing energy from a second wind farm that could be built off Ocean City.
…and when I say “nobody” I mean strident wind power foes and Delmarva Power henchmen Harris McDowell and Charlie Copeland.
h/t Al Mascitti who mentioned this yesterday.
Hmmm. I noticed that you didn’t mention the part about Carney opening the dialogue with MD. I’m sure that was just an oversight…
Oh, and if we become a regional center for a dozen windfarms being built off-shore, we may be talking about a lot more Delaware jobs.
It is common knowledge that Carney kicked in the MD Governors door and pinned him up against the wall and when the Governor got a look at Carney’s tattooed knuckles [(MODER) right (ATION) left] he folded like a cheap suit.
Do you think that since facts have determined that McDowell and Copeland were dead wrong on opposing windpower it will bar them from creating or serving on the SEU? Why would we want management on SEU that thinks windpower is what comes out of Minner’s ass?
Neither of these facilities will ever be built.
Okay…not every comment, but a solid majority.
I have found most liberals’ bitterness comes from a lack of vital bodily fluids.
Their impotence cannot be solved physically, so they resort to political onanism, spraying putrid political spunk that shall fertilize nothing but the musky smell of their own hate.
Thanks for the 15th century diagnosis Doc.
I have found that most conservatives bitterness comes from being proven wrong about everything over the past eight years.
I’m not saying that is your problem, but your fixation on sperm is telling.
As always, another classy comment from the wingnut gallery.
Good news indeed.
One thing Delaware has is a lot of wind. I hope that the maintanece costs do make this project efficient.
