Very true. It is not simply prayer. He, along with Hocker and a few other esteemed SC Reps wanted to make Jesus the official deity of the Indian River School Board District.
We believe that one of the keys to our greatness as a nation has been our acknowledgment of God’s grace, our faith in Him and the willing and active participation of our people to worship God as they see fit. Since our country’s founding, we have been “one nation under God.” That link is as undeniable as the money we carry in our pockets inscribed with the phrase “in God We Trust.”
That is from a letter that they wrote to support the IRSD in its decision to drive out the Dobrich’s, a Jewish family that had the gall to asked for less Christian prostletizing at IRHS school graduations.
Of course, Atkins sock puppets will now relate to us how wanting to drive away jews and make Jesus the official deity of IRSD actually helps Atkins in this backwards district.
I wish the Democratic Party of Delaware would cut all ties with him.

To be fair, most of the Adkins supporters I’ve seen commenting in your 41st District posts are real folks who really believe this stuff. It’s sad, but true.
I’m no sock puppet for Atkins, but I agree with Mike. You’re talking about the same electorate that voted to keep the Jesup freak school board in place despite the pending lawsuit (which they lost). These folks really are nuts.
I second that, X, even the clueless country club good old boys in the DE GOP knew the guy was a loser and forced him out.
