These guys aren’t even subtle
Richard Perle is looking into an oil deal in Iraq. Mr. Perle, one of a group of security experts who began pushing the case for toppling Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein about a decade ago, has been discussing a possible deal with officials of northern Iraq’s Kurdistan regional government, including its Washington envoy, according to these […]
Dem Insurance Commissioner Primary
This is a tough one. One the one hand we have Gene Reed who has 25 years of experience and all the insidery connections that go along with that and his fundraising does not give me the impression that he’ll be as tough on insurance companies as Matt Denn has been. On the other hand […]
Questions of Authenticity at the 41st RD Debate
Former Republican John Atkins and Democrat Barbara Lifflander met last night in a debate sponsored by the Delaware Manufactured Homeowners Association. Besides Carney-Markell and Lee-Protack, this primary is one of the more interesting ones in the state. Lee Atwater Apologizes
This Novak stuff got me thinking about Lee Atwater, the Henry Ford of modern day Republican smears and dirty tricks. Turns out Atwater, when faced with death from a brain tumor, decided that lying, smearing political adversaries, degrading the national dialogue and poisoning the well of American politics was a bad idea.
Robert Novak Diagnosed with a Brain Tumor
This sheds a new light on the hit and run accident. And while I may not have agreed on a single issue with Robert Novak, I am always* saddened by news like this. *except when Jerry Falwell died.
