Wilmington – Matt Denn, Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor, made the following statement in response to Republican Charlie Copeland’s campaign announcement remarks:
“I agree that we need change in Dover. It is something I have successfully fought for over the last four years as Insurance Commissioner, and I will do the same as Lieutenant Governor. Unfortunately, Senator Copeland has been part of the problem in Dover during his six years as a legislator. He has voted against regulating health insurance premiums and against harsher penalties for corporate polluters, just two of the many areas where he opposed important proposals for positive change in Dover.“
