Thomas Frank on Colbert

Frank has a new book The Wrecking Crew, How Conservatives Rule, that he was on Colbert promoting. Colbert’s very funny observation that government is welfare for people who can’t put out their own fires seems to encapsulate the neo-conservative attitude to government quite precisely.
