Another Campaign Ender From McCain

Filed in National by on August 20, 2008

McCain wants to bring back the draft, but I’m sure our liberal media will figure out what McCain meant to say so that this can be swept quietly under the rug.

Cripes, are you f’in SERIOUS?? The woman lays out a gazillion things before she mentions the tiny bit about the draft, and you (and the Kos a-holes) take McCain to mean he actually agrees w/bringing back the draft. That’s really cute. No possible way he meant that he agreed with the ACTUAL thrust of the woman’s comments which was all about veterans’ care.

    F’in moonbats.

  2. June says:

I doubt if McCain even knew what he was saying. He usually doesn’t.

  3. jason330 says:

Poor Hube. His guy wants to be in Iraq for 100 years and bring back the draft.

  4. Hube says:

Poor Jase. Still in search of an intellect.

  5. jason330 says:

Didi you even listen to the thing Hube? She mentioned the draft just prior to McCain saying that he agreed with her.

The tape was not edited. It speaks for itself.

  6. Sharon says:

The tape cut off McCain’s answer, Jason. I’m sure if we actually heard McCain’s reply, it would have been clear what he was agreeing with. That woman talked for 1:49 about how badly veterans have been treated when they come back and spent 2 seconds talking about the draft. Then McCain gets one sentence out & the tape gets cut off. Man, you guys are just flat out desperate and there are still 76 days to go.

Hube – They’re amazingly devoid of intellect.

I got the feeling from the speaker that she was not exactly in favor of a draft, per se. It sounded like she was saying that with the shitty medical care that veterans get, they will be too sick or injured to serve, and since this has become so well-known through the media, less people will sign up to server. Therefore, the only way we’ll be able to get people to server in the Armed Forces will be through force of the draft.

Looking at it that way, it’s a very good liberal talking point.

  9. Dana says:

As the father of a daughter who has voluntarily joined the United States Army, it doesn’t seem to me that “the only way we’ll be able to get people to server in the Armed Forces will be through force of the draft.”

  10. Joe M says:

Yeah, Dana, I think she may have been using hyperbole to make a point.

  11. Old Shoe Lady Who Knew What to Do..... says:

    Whatever!

I just want the children of those serving in the government to ‘go’ first….before draftees and/or volunteers.

Let’s see how many conflicts are entered into with that system.
