Joe Biden Knows That $4 million per year is not middle class

Filed in National by on August 23, 2008

People are saying that this is about Biden’s foreign policy chops, he also REALLY helps make the economic case for this administration.

First of all his wife is a teacher. You can’t get anymore middle class that that. Secondly, as MYDD points out, CNN reported tonight that Biden is actually one of the least wealthy members of the United States Senate.

Earned income: $193,900.
Honoraria (all donated to charity): $800.
Major assets: Bank accounts and life insurance policies, $22,008-$155,000.
Major sources of unearned income: Life insurance dividends, $1,001-$2,500.
Major liabilities: Loan against life insurance policies, $15,001-$50,000; lines of credit, $114,002-$300,000; credit union note, $10,001-$15,000.

Meanwhile, Mitt Romney is worth about $250 million and John McCain puts over $250,000 per year on a single credit card, wears $500 loafers and can’t keep track of how many houses he owns.

Yeah, being a successful business man is such a blithe to society, good point, leep hammering that one …

“Mitt Romney has been successful in his business ventures and you haven’t, John McCain has expensive shoes and you don’t. The choice is clear, vote for change, vote for me”

“I’m Barack Obama and I approve this message …”

John McCain’s success was marrying rich, oh yeah, he’s was a POW.

    DPN,

You don’t call ditching your wife because she was in a bad car accident and marrying an heiress good business sense?

C’mon. It is the GOP way. It means he has good judgement.
