After the speech I watched it again on CSPAN.
Brilliant. The speech I’ve been longing to hear since I started knowing a little about the purpose and power of politics.
I think it is a shame that most Americans will have thier experience of this speech filtered through the corporate media.
It reminds me of an old Mike Schmidt quote about playing baseball in Philly. “…the thrill of victory, and the agony of reading about it the next day.”
I am still on cloud nine. The speech hit every point, every tone, and surpassed every expectation. Bravo, Barack.
Yes, I watched it twice last night. I was actually addicted to the talking heads this time, because they were gushing. Olbermann, Matthews and Buchanan were in raptures. The talking heads actually took apart the AP’s hit piece!
NBC is saying McCain’s VP is Sarah Palin, governor of Alaska. Is he going for disaffected Hillary voters? If so, she’s very anti-choice.
