who got her first passport last year

Much has been made in the last few days of Palin having to apply for a passport before she traveled last year to Kuwait to visit Alaska National Guard troops there

Another nug for you:

that she was a member for two years in the 1990s of the Alaskan Independence Party, which at times supported secession for Alaska, and that her husband Todd was arrested 22 years ago on a drunken-driving charge.

That might be a problem when your campaign is using the slogan “Country First”

Seriously?  I mean seriously?  This is their pick?  Boy, sure shows you the type of office McCain will run.  I feel sorry for all you asses defending Palin.  Jesus, the weight of that water you have to carry is going to really wear on you.  Just go ahead and admit it.  It will be good for you.  You can do it.  You know deep down that short of picking a child rapist things can’t get worse…..but they will….and you know it….

Leadership, judgement, oh and did you know McCain is a Pow…..grrrrrr

and here is one last closing item for you…

On Sunday, The Washington Post quoted McCain campaign manager Rick Davis as saying the FBI conducted a background check of Palin.

But Monday, the FBI told the Atlantic Monthly no such check took place.

Leadership…judgement….lying….GOP….grrrrrr

Sarah Palin is the gift that just keeps giving.

  2. delawaredem says:

It occurs to me that McCain and the evil Karl Rove minions who picked Palin did so in the same way they ran the government the last eight years: with complete incompetence focused solely on ideology.

This pick reveals how they continue to govern, and how they will govern over the next four years. If there were any doubt that McCain represented a third Bush-Cheney term, it is gone now.

Banned any books lately? Gov.Palin is laughable but when the numbers come together to form a bloc that wants to eliminate education for a government sanctioned indoctrination is frightening.

She still got to the Mideast well ahead of Obama. And, it wasn’t just to boost her foreign policy street cred.

Might want to check those pesky facts, Mis. I do believe Obama went to the Middle East in January 2006.

  6. Joe Cass says:

Pandora, those are ten “scientific” months. Miscreant is working on the 7 day creation plan.

  7. Joe M says:

    That is correct, pandora

    Nice fact-checking, miscreant.

  8. What else did you find, that she didn’t have the correct change for her school lunch 30 years ago, had to borrow a quarter, and never paid it back?

    You’re fishing.

Didn’t Obama get some help buying an expensive house from a shady Chicago figure?

Both are on par as being ridiculously petty.

Oh, does visiting a place 18 months ago qualify you to manage policy? If so, I should go back to New York City and run for mayor there.

  9. PBaumbach says:

McCain, in his VP pick, is shoring up Bush’s weak numbers. He has intentionally spent less time in considering this decision than W used to invade Iraq. His aide lying about FBI background checks sound like he is shooting for Scooter Libby’s office. In comparison to McCain in the past week, George W looks almost presidential!

Given his ‘impressive experience’, given how he selected his running mate, do you really want McCain in charge of nukes (was that Iraq or Iran, Sunni or Shia, Austria or Australia, …).

    It’s OK, he’s was a POW.
