That’s pretty cool. Where are they filming from?

  2. Dorian Gray says:

It was pretty neat to hear the Meet the Press theme music and see the Wilmington skyline. Biden has been solid so far, nothing special, but solid.

  3. Dorian Gray says:

10.47 — Now Biden is on the foreign policy kick… discussing the surge, etc. It right up his alley and he is shining!

  4. Joe M says:

Dude, you have to stop kidnapping people, DV.

  5. Brokaw is pathetic. Why doesn’t he just take the GOP talking points and paste them on his head.

I will give Biden Credit. When it comes to Foreign Policy he is damn good.

  6. Dorian Gray says:

I just saw Roscoe and LuLu run though the set!

  7. Dorian Gray says:

Joe is taking Brokaw to school.

  8. haha! damn those f’ing dogs got out again!

  9. Dorian Gray says:

Nice job by Biden on the Fannie/Freddie situation too. He spoke to Paulson last night. Hmm.

  10. you had to know the banking thing was coming. Let’s see how he handles this one

  11. Now juxtapose Sarah Palin? As if she can hold a candle to this….

  12. Dorian Gray says:

He hit home run on it! But again it is no suprise and he is clearly prepared for it.

  13. Dorian Gray says:

The abortion issue.. “As a matter of faith, but that is my judgment… ”

He doesn’t feel compelled to enforced his religiously based view on others…

    I’m satisfied with that answer.

  14. Truth Teller says:

Brokaw was an ass when is NBC going to get a real interviewer.

However Joe was great i would love to see McSame’s VP answer some questions from the press.
If she won’t then the MSM should hold a mock press conference and ask and answer the questions themselves.
like why did you let McShame tell the folks in WI that you sold the Jet on E-bay at a profit, when the truth is that it was sold for a loss to a supporter of yours.

  15. Truth Teller says:

Or how can you and John say you saved the tax payers money by being against the bridge to nowhere when you took the 280 million dollars and are now building a road to a bridge that not being built???

  16. mike w. says:

“He doesn’t feel compelled to enforced his religiously based view on others…”

Yup, but when it comes to his non-religious ideological views he’ll gladly enforce them on others.

  17. Truth Teller says:

Yes Mike he’s not like you and you Ilk that want everyone to march to your foolish ideas. Just like germany in the 1930’s

  18. Was A Willing Blogger says:

He was good. I hadn’t realized it was in Wilmington because I was also watching ‘The Recruit’.
He even trundled the banking bill and lobbying ‘problem. At least Biden didn’t have the many thousands that had to be shamefully returned to Jack Abramoff that our own junior senator Carper was embarrassed into.

  19. mike w. says:

“Yes Mike he’s not like you and you Ilk that want everyone to march to your foolish ideas. Just like germany in the 1930’s”

If you really want to get into that Obama and his rise to prominence are FAR more characteristic of Nazi-style facism than Bush or McCain.

  20. donviti says:

    once again wrong.

you obviously know nothing about fascism. which I guess isn’t too surprising.

“fascism will come wrapped in a flag”

  21. TPN says:

I have to say that Biden’s abortion stance is utter hypocrisy considering the failed destructive authoritarian drug war policies he has imposed on this country over the last 25 years (with plenty of right wing fellow travelers).

So Biden doesn’t want to impose his moral views on a woman’s right of physical self-determination, to the point he is OK with them aborting what he admits he believes to be human life.

Yet he is all OK with locking people up (especially African-Americans) for decades for non-violent drug offenses, despite 40+ years of black-market-created violence, pure failure, validation of police state militarism in law enforcement, jurisprudential erosion of civil liberties coming out of drug cases, and of course countless wasted lives and resources. All because Joe wants to impose his moral and puritanical views about what people should be able to do with or put into their bodies.

Joe should learn that imposing his will on the rest of us and what we do with our bodies should equate to more than just an occasional opportunity for him to engage in cheap self-promotion about how courageous he is in standing against his church and looking past his religious beliefs.

(Caveat : I support choice, on both issues.)

  22. Dorian Gray says:

Mike, I used to word “faith” in my comment for a reason. You can’t impose faith based positions because by definition you only take it on faith. Secular positions based on evidence are a different matter.

But hey, you are the king of you schoolboy argument. You twist everything to try to inply that your oppenent does it too. You know, the more I read your comments more stupid you seem. Repeat, repeat, repeat the same stupid thing. You do much better when you just argue your own position, Grand Pa.

  23. mike w. says:

“Secular positions based on evidence are a different matter.”

Sticking to a political ideology in the face of evidence contrary to that ideology and wishing to enforce that on others is no different than doing so with religion. Both are based on “faith” rather than factual evidence and both intend to push certain beliefs on others.

Who’s position are you implying I’m arguing Dorian?
