Bluewater Wind and Willett Kempton in The NY Times Magazine

Filed in National by on September 14, 2008

Thanks to Tom Noyes for letting us know about this article in the Sunday NY Times magazine.  It is a six page article that covers the whole journey of Bluewater.  Copeland and McDowell get called out for their opposition.  Tommywonk also gets a quote.

Excellent article. Hope that the Copeland and McDowell callouts get repeated in candidate lit until the end of time. Neither should be rewarded with further office for their opposition to this thing.

The NYT piece doesn’t quite cover the entire story, particularly the part that citizen activists played in winning apporval of the Bluewater agreement.

Professors Kempton and Firestone will be on Radio Times with Marty Moss-Coane on WHYY, 91 FM, Monday morning at 11:00 to flesh out the story. Listen and call in if you can.

And if you can’t listen, Radio Times does provide a podcast of their shows, usually up by the end of the day.
