Please….if Hitler himself was the Dem candidate…he would still take Delaware handily.

  2. delawaredem says:

Well, Hitler himself was a candidate in 2004. And he lost the state by 8 points.

Please….if Hitler himself was the Dem candidate…he would still take Delaware handily.

Of course that is entirely hypothetical, since Hitler would most definitely run as a Republican.

  4. Benjamin says:

I was hoping for a bigger whoopy. But good news nevertheless.

    No Lee-Markell ?

  5. Unstable Isotope says:

That’s lower support than I thought, especially considering Biden’s presence on the ticket.

  6. Joanne Christian says:

I’d say you guys better get crackin’–you’ve got the hometown hero and are still only ahead by essentially a margin of error!! Remember, your brother Al Gore lost his Tennessee….

  7. mike w. says:

I figured It’d be ~60-40 for Obama so this isn’t that surprising.

  8. X Stryker says:

I guarantee you the Lee-Markell poll will be up tomorrow.

  9. X Stryker says:

btw, please enlighten me on how a 12% on a poll with a 4.5% MoE is “essentially a margin of error”. Essentially, it is comfortably outside the margin of error.

  10. Truth Teller says:

Not impressed should be larger. Obama draws the crowds and raises the money and registers folks yet either the polls are wrong or someone not telling them the truth. Lets hope it’s the latter

Yes. I am sure the Republican Pro-Israel platform would greatly attract Hitler.

    Please.

  12. liberalgeek says:

no, but the authoritarian nature of the imperial Presidency would appeal to him greatly. Oh and it is just like Hitler keeping Israel around so that they can be destroyed in the end times…

    …..invokes Godwin’s law

  14. anonone says:

    Thank, Tom. You win!

  15. mike w. says:

“no, but the authoritarian nature of the imperial Presidency would appeal to him greatly.”

Hmmm, if you knew what Imperialists actually did you wouldn’t call us imperialists. Do we get involved in the affairs of other countries too often? I think we do, but we’re not imperialist, not even under Bush. What we do doesn’t fit the definition of imperialism.

  16. liberalgeek says:

Mike, mike, mike… It refers to Bush’s political actions, not necessarily his foreign policy. He has acted as if the President is a king. He has worked very hard to take power from Congress and assign it to himself.

  17. mike w. says:

” He has worked very hard to take power from Congress and assign it to himself.”

Well LG, I agree with you. I can’t argue with you there.
