STOP PUSH-POLLS & DIRTY REPUBLICAN DIRTY TRICKS!
You Have Homework
According to that poll on the left, the underhanded Republican push-polls will have their intended impact and Democratic candidates will be hurt by this Republican dirty tricks campaign.
It does not have to be that way. We have to power to see that these strategies don’t work. But we need to act.
I have been in contact with a few of the effected candidates and asked, “What can Democrats do to help?” and the word is that it would be a big help to Rebecca Walker, Brad Bennett and the other effected Democrats if everyone who objects to these dirty Republican campaign tactics wrote a letter to the News Journal protesting their use.
Here is a link to the News Journal’s letter to the editor form.

Take a few minutes right now to tell you fellow Delawareans that Donna Stone and Dick Cathcart’s Pac (Delaware’s House Republican Campaign Committee) is out of line and that they should be held accountable for dragging this election into the gutter.
Let them know that we want elections that are settled on the issues, not by who can run the dirtiest campaign.
Your letter will have impact. Re-read this Delaware Dem post and write that letter today.
The same thing happened to Kowalko before and by Conquest as well. Here’s a link about it:

I got a push poll earlier this summer that was definitely slanted for Matt Denn. I really aggravated the pollster by asking every three questions who Matt Denn was. I think I made her cry.
Just got a call from a resident of the 29th District that Thornburg is in with Cathcart and Stone on the sleaze phone poll.
Looks like the GOP is off the deal on majority in the House. That’s going to be a huge hit to the income of Delaware’s plastic surgeons and manufactured home despots.
Now here is something I read earlier today regarding the poll calls. “When calling, the pollsters identify themselves as being from Conquest Communications — a conservative campaign group located in Richmond, Va., that lists the Republican National Committee and more than 25 states’ Republican parties as clients, as well as a long list of smaller Republican organizations.
Delaware’s House Republican Campaign Committee, a political action committee organized by caucus members that helps fund Republican state House candidates, paid the company $5,480 in the past two months, according to campaign finance reports.
Funny what happens when you do a little research for facts. Look at this. Two payments were made to Conquest Communications from the House Republican Campaign Committee.
The first payment:
Go to page 6 of 14. The date is 7/29 in the amount of $3,180.00

Isn’t Donna Stone a member of the Republican House caucus that paid for this? She definitely lied that she didn’t know anything. Looks like we have an elected public official on the record lying to the newspaper.
I think Donna Stone knew exactly what those poll calls were about. That was a low blow Ms. Stone. My vote is for Brad Bennett.

shocking….
How to stop push polls in a tiny state like Delaware:
Phone rings:
Pick up:
“Hello, is this the registered voter…….blah, blah….”
“Fuck You.”
Hang up…
We just need to get that message out to 870,000 Delawareans and push polls would be a thing of the past…
