    I’ve watched this a couple of times and it is really amusing to watch McCain as Palin speaks. He knows this is bullshit. There is a reason the guy is a craps man — he’d never survive a poker game.

    The issue is NOT that it was a pizza place (stop trying to inflame ethnic minorities). It’s that someone ‘shouted’ the question. If someone shouts the question, you’re forgiven for saying the opposite of what you think. And, under these circumstances, if you say the opposite of what you think, it’s other peoples’ fault (the ‘gotcha’ people).

    The historically ironic thing here is that she is clearly smarter than Bush and perhaps even with Quail.

    More interesting, IMO: The “horseshit” comment by McCain, repeated twice, while Obama was answering a question during their debate. Very presidential, n’est-ce pas?
