More Battleground Polls

Filed in National by on October 2, 2008

I am hearing that song “Closing Time” in my head.   I think one thing is for certain, if the race stays as it is, Barack Obama and Joe Biden will be elected in a landslide unseen since 1984.    The latest polls are from TIME/CNN:

FLORIDA: Obama 51, McCain 47
MINNESOTA: Obama 54, McCain 43

MISSOURI: Obama 49, McCain 48
NEVADA: Obama 51, McCain 47
VIRGINIA: Obama 53, McCain 44

Here are some new national polls:

AP/GfK: Obama 48, McCain 41

CBS News: Obama 50, McCain 41

And another key state poll: KCCI Des Moines, Iowa poll finds Obama 55, McCain 39.

Why the heck was McCain campaigning in Iowa? Obama has a strong lead there. Does McCain have an internal poll that shows something different?

He shouldn’t be. But his campaign has not been competent.

  3. X Stryker says:

He’s just trying to force Obama to spend money in Iowa.
