Anyone going to this year’s Jefferson Jackson Dinner?
I recently spoke with Molly Jurusik at Del Dem HQ and the lineup is not set yet because having a candidate for VP as your featured speaker tends to complicate things a bit.
Here is the nuts and bolts stuff.
This year’s Jefferson-Jackson Dinner is Monday, October 13th at Dover Downs Hotel and Conference Center.
Doors open at 6pm. Dinner and the program start at 7pm.

I’m going! It’s my first one so I’m excited. Do you think the future VP will be willing to sign things? (I have to decide what I want him to sign). I really need an Obama/Biden sign but it takes too long to get them!
If anyone is seriously interested in attending the Dinner, they need to get to Democratic Headquarters today to make their reservation. It is almost sold out and will probably be closed by the end of the day.
I thought about it, but I don’t want to give any money to the State Dems – they misuse it. I’ll give the money to either Joan Deaver or Mike Wyatt who are running for Sussex County Council.

I called and they said they would hold the seats. Mailed them a check for payment.
I called and the woman who answered the phone said that you can hold a seat by contributing on-line. Go to the contribute page and donate in multiples of $45.00 and they’ll know to hold tickets for you at the venue.
