  1. Joanne Christian says:

I have my answers ready to go.

  2. Pudding says:

I already explained the reason to my kids why I’m not voting for Obama. They already knew. It made me smile.

  3. Unstable Isotope says:

They’ll say “I just didn’t trust him” and we’ll know what they meant.

  4. anon says:

It will be an especially interesting conversation if the grandchildren are half black.

  5. Joanne Christian says:

If only I could split my ticket at the top–because “present”, and “president”, mean two different things.

  6. Gelatinous Monk says:

Yes, I can imagine it. They already said “thank you!”

One clear issue…..one clear vote. It wasn’t hard for them to figure out.

  7. Tom S. says:

I’ll have plenty of answers for them.

  8. Donsquishy says:

and all your answers won’t matter. Because when your children/grandchildren learn about how awful bush and the gop were they are going to know/think you didn’t vote for him b/c he is…..

  9. Gelatinous Monk says:

    ….an unabashed abortionist?

    Well….YES.

  10. anonone says:

Hopefully, our grandchildren will think of the repubs they way we think of other totalitarian movements that have been defeated throughout history – with disgust and revulsion.

  11. Gelatinous Monk says:

Probably the same way we think of Southern Democrats from the 1950s and 60s……

  12. Susan Regis Collins says:

I don’t think the McCainites will admit they voted to continue Bu$hco. It will be like after Reagan….strangely, you couldn’t find anyone who voted for him. Some will admit it today because time heals all wounds and poor eyesight and memory come into play.

  13. h. says:

I can’t wait to see all of the prolifers weep like babies when OBAMA wins. You know they will.

If god thinks abortion is bad , why doesn’t he come down from the clouds and put a stop to it? Or at least give us a sign that he even cares. And I’m not talking about a tsumani in SE Asia that kills 100,000 people who probably don’t know what a fucking abortion is, I’m talking fire and brimstone, you know, biblical shit, angel of death type stuff.

If he hasn’t stopped it by now, it must not be an important issue for him.

  14. pandora says:

I’m betting that today’s McCain supporters morph into “I voted for Obama” fibbers in the future. Sorta like how hard it is to find someone who didn’t vote for Kennedy today.

  15. Gelatinous Monk says:

    Ain’t how it works, brother.

  16. Donsquishy says:

If god thinks abortion is bad , why doesn’t he come down from the clouds and put a stop to it?

he already took out New Orleans what more do you want

  17. Gelatinous Monk says:

No fibs necessary. People’s votes don’t always count in reality.

    MINE:

    1980 – Carter
    1984 – Reagan
    1988 – Bush
    1992 – Clinton
    1996 – Clinton
    2000 – oops
    2004 – Kerry

    No shame. That’s the rundown.

  18. Donsquishy says:

    Ain’t how it works, brother.

please, enlighten me. How does it “work” then?

  19. Gelatinous Monk says:

I believe the term is “sh.t happens”

  20. h. says:

Why don’t you ‘splain how “it” works?

  21. Gelatinous Monk says:

    Just did.

  22. Gelatinous Monk says:

    Mikey would tell you.

  23. h. says:

    Shit happens?

    Thats it?????

    Oh, right,faith.

god: Lets punish the homos today, hmm, I know, I’ll make that busload of children die a fiery death this afternoon. That will get the message across.

That’s someone I sure want to worship !!!

  24. Gelatinous Monk says:

The faith part comes after sh.t happens.

    – that you’ll be blessed with the strength to handle it.

    – that you’ll emerge stronger.

    – that you’ll learn from it.

    – that you’ll continue to live and let live

If you want Raiders of the Lost Ark final scene kind of stuff, rent the DVD.

Or sit in on lectures at Liberty University.

    Either way, it’s your call.

  25. h. says:

You keep believin’ that empty promise.

  26. Emptier than waiting for fire and brimstone?

    Ha!

  27. h. says:

    Not waiting, wondering.

You holy people are really simple. You don’t even realize I was mocking your god with the fire and brimstone shit.

Now say 3 hail marys & 2 our fathers !!

  28. You can only mock your own god. I use an encrypted firewall.

  29. Tom S. says:

“If god thinks abortion is bad , why doesn’t he come down from the clouds and put a stop to it? Or at least give us a sign that he even cares.”

    He did.

“You holy people are really simple. You don’t even realize I was mocking your god with the fire and brimstone shit. ”

………..you need to get out more.

  30. Donsquishy says:

where you need to stop trying to contol other peoples bodies.

    let’s call it even

  31. h. says:

I do. I live my life the way I choose.

I don’t tiptoe through life like you sheep, fearing eternal damnation.

  32. Gelatinous Monk says:

There is “tiptoeing” to avoid causing others injury.

There is “tiptoeing” to avoid consequences.

    Which are you doing?

  33. Donsquishy says:

I tiptoe to keep my son from waking up. So I guess I avoid those conseq’s

and I tiptoe through the tulips too

    wooohooo

  34. Gelatinous Monk says:

So you are carelessly injuring others and not worried about consequences.

  35. Donsquishy says:

I’d rather abortions goe up than the number of foster children rise

  36. h. says:

Alright, I’ll play your silly game. Who am I injuring?

  37. Gelatinous Monk says:

“I’d rather abortions goe up than the number of foster children rise”

Why not fix the foster system?

  38. Donsquishy says:

    that’s funny….

let’s fix the systems that takes care of unwanted kids. I know, we need more cowbell! that’ll do it

  39. Gelatinous Monk says:

“systems that takes care of unwanted kids.”

Done right, it would make them WANTED.

I’m sorry your parents were jerks, DV. What happened to you sucked.

But a good solution to a lot of the wrongs in the world is simply forcing adults to be adults, and not giving them the fifth-grade escape clause.

  40. Tom S. says:

“I’d rather abortions goe up than the number of foster children rise”

I have no words for this. I am truly in awe of your callousness.

  41. Gelatinous Monk says:

“I have no words for this. I am truly in awe of your callousness.”

    And to think he BRED!
