She is rolling now. I love the “no banker left behind” line. With Castle’s history of utter uselessness in the House Financial Services Committee, KHN might be hitting her stride at just the right time.
WBOC TV WILMINGTON, Del. (AP)- The Democrat hoping to unseat Republican Congressman Mike Castle says she would not have supported the $700 billion financial rescue bill that Castle supported.
Karen Hartley-Nagle says the package gives too many benefits to Wall Street and lacks adequate protections for taxpayers. She calls the bill “no banker left behind.”
Castle is a senior member of the House Financial Services Committee and was part of a group of lawmakers who helped develop an alternate bill after the package initially failed in the House. He said last week the final bill was “far from perfect” but said the economic environment was threatening jobs, home values, savings and pensions.
NOTE: The DJIA is now at 8,579. Castle is such a loser and a fraud to vote for that abortion of a bail out bill and get nothing for the taxpayers in return for the sellout, that I think he might be vunerable. I’ve never thought tha about Castle until just now.
