No Floor For McCain Shares

Filed in National by on October 9, 2008

Even with his crappy debate performance, I expected 30.00 per share to be McCain’s IEM trading floor. Nope. He crashed through 30.00 and is now passing 20.00.

The inverse is also true. I thought Obama’s share price ceiling was 70.00 and now he is above 80.00

I don’t trust these markets. I think they reflect CW rather than drive it. It’s interesting that blowout is seeping in now. It reminds me – I haven’t heard any of these kind of stories in the MSM lately: 1) why can’t Obama seal the deal with working class whites 2) PUMAs 3) democrats divided 4) Hillary isn’t doing enough.

Mitt Romney has been quiet for McCain lately… oh wait, Mitt has been spotted campaigning in Michigan! , sorta for McCain! Guess he didn’t get the memo.

In a serious note, be prepared for a psuedo-McCain surge in the last week or two of the election. Mondale, Gore and Kerry all had these “surges” and they turned out to be just a big tease.

Mitt’s probably campaigning for 2012. He probably knows that he needs to be seen doing as much as he can to get McCain elected as well as not doing so much that he gets tainted with McCain’s loss.
