Please come out for a relaxing and fun afternoon down here in the Blackbird area, and a chance to meet and talk with Jack Markell and other democratic candidates. We will have plenty of food (Beef Brisket, Barbecue Pork, Chicken, Veggie Burgers & Sides), plenty of beer, soda, and apple cider, etc. We’ll also have some friends providing the music, and the trees should be well into autumn colors.
Our property has been permanently protected as open space through the State Agricultural Preservation Foundation, and is gradually being reforested. You are also welcome to tour the property by hiking the trails or by taking a hay ride (Feel free to bring along your kids, grandchildren, and their friends).
We hope to see on October 18th.
Cheers,
Dave & Marj

It’s not this Saturday — it’s next Saturday — the 18th.
This is a beautiful event on a marvelous property. I just hope I make it down next weekend! The last one I attended included a latenight hay-wagon ride around through fields and woodland under the bright southern NCC starscape – hold onto your beers!
