I find it amusing how “Hussein” is in parantheses as if it’s like Obama’s nickname or something. Like Pat “the bat” Burrell. It’s the dude’s middle name for crap’s sake, get over it.
Hah, sorry Jason I removed the point you were referring to: that the president has no direct influence on whether or not people have abortions.
“You might not like it, but the sign is spot-on accurate.”
Yeah because Obama’s teeth take up about 70% of his face and he’s constantly seen wearing a turban. So totally accurate. I guess it would be too much to expect the morons who made this sign to realize the turban makes him look like a Sikh, which is entirely different from a Muslim.
And, to be sure, it is a wholly racist caricature. I’m not one of those Obama supporters who has EVER screamed racism, but the person using those images knows what he/she is doing. I took a course in African American images back in college and we dissected such imagery. The person holding the sign may not be racist, but the person who designed the image surely is.
I’m tempted to bitch about the people in my own party for this, but if you think for a minute that you don’t have Democrats that won’t even touch an Obama candidacy due to their own, vile racist attitudes, your more naive than baby Squishy.
There are plenty of Democrats who will vote (or not) their racial bigotry, but said bigotry is neither especially acceptable among Dems and is certainly not a core electoral strategy (read: Southern Strategy).
I don’t know anything about Rick Jensen, but that particular billboard is straight out of the Lee Atwater playbook.
since when does a terrorist want gun regulation?
did they ever think of that one?
Just…ugh…

Good point. If the sign is true, abortions should actual go down because same sex marriges will increase.
You might not like it, but the sign is spot-on accurate.
gee, what a shock another republican racist.
More abortions? More than what? A bigger increase than we had under Bush with his crazy ass abstenence only policies? Is that spot on?
More taxes? Yes if you make over $250,000 per year. I’m gonna go out on a limb and guess that you fall $210,000 a year under that threshold.

C’mon, we know you have a grandpa McCain one somewhere……
Yes, my father…
He told me the economy was doing well. I asked him to give me a benchmark.
he said it is cheaper to operate a car per mile than in it has ever been.
that was all he could give me…
