You missed me or what? Trying to force me to comment?

Who does your polling? Magic 8-ball? I’ll be glad to tell you what I’ve heard, going door-to-door, but after Nov 4 (I ain’t showin’ no hand to you, other than the back side)! πŸ˜€

  2. jason330 says:

    Didn’t you see the asterick?

  3. Disbelief says:

What’s the line on the Paradee/Thornburg race?

  4. RSmitty says:

That’s why I asked about the Magic 8-ball. It’s cool, I have one, too. Don’t we all? πŸ™‚

Hey, I will be glad to share my info with you after Nov 4, too. Plus, I am giving serious weight to my Prog Repub idea, too, so I may draft you, you closet ‘pub.

  5. Nancy Willing says:

Unfortunatley, the DEM party rules the state house much like Bushie runs DC. We know that. Let’s relish the new blood and stay wary of the incumbents.
Thank the gods that Markell is here for us as the true face of change. I am sure that his leadership will make all the difference in the behavior of a DEM controlled Assembly.

  6. P.I. says:

I want to see Young’s name on that list. The same wave that can carry Katz can carry Young and it doesn’t even have to be as bif a wave!

  7. jason330 says:

I love me some Rebecca, but Katz is an open seat (Copeland having quit for reasons only known to himself.)

As much as I like her, to add Rebecca could impare the journalistic integrity of the list.

  8. John Tobin says:

It is an open seat so I guess it is possible Katz can win in the 4th Senate race, but he will need a heck of a turnout of Democrats and a fair amount of crossover votes since he has a significant registration disadvantage.

  9. nemski says:

John Tobin, you mean like the Primary turnout?

    3,854 Democratic to 3,814 Republican

  10. nemski says:

RSmitty, aren’t Progressive Republicans called moderate Democrats? πŸ˜‰

  11. G Rex says:

Got another weird push poll from Earl Jaques last night – I think he outsources them to Bangalore or something. There was a bunch of hypothetical news headlines and would they affect my opinion of Earl Jaques; there was one about family friendly gambling or something (Sorry, I was watching the Flyers at the time) and another one about Jaques’ responsibility for defending subprime lending. He seems like a nice guy in person, but there’s something wrong with his campaign. And then there’s his weird signs: Time for a Donkey! I put pictures on them so stupid people can understand them too!

  12. G Rex says:

That should read: I was watching the Flyers game at the time, so my wife took the phone poll.

  13. Unstable Isotope says:

Last night at the JJ dinner, Dave Sokola was predicting a change of 10 (I assume he meant 5 seats changing).

  14. RSmitty says:

I’m sure there was a lot of talk about seat-changes there. It was a partisan function! You should see the pie-in-the-sky that happens at our circle jerks. Oy! It’s akin to the Oscar Awards, if you catch my drift.

  15. Geezer says:

“It is an open seat so I guess it is possible Katz can win in the 4th Senate race, but he will need a heck of a turnout of Democrats and a fair amount of crossover votes since he has a significant registration disadvantage.”

He has a chance because Clatworthy is a wet-behind-the-ears GOP stooge.

  16. jason330 says:

I’m sad that Smitty did not bite on the could impare the journalistic integrity of the list line.

  17. RSmitty says:

I started to, but I think the response required is so obvious that I didn’t want to appear to be redundant.

  18. jason330 says:

    That’s what I don’t like about you. Self-control.

  19. RSmitty says:

    Oh…I don’t know about that.

  20. blarg says:

any word on Mackenzie’s race? How tough will that be? Will hometown support for Markell help him at all or is it hopeless?

  21. jason330 says:

    Hmmm…

Mackenzie’s district is as affulent but less Republican that nearby Senate districts. (D:8,353 – R:7,566 – I:5,806 – total 21,725

Sorenson is an incumbent Senator though and that is a steep hill to climb.

I haven’t heard much about this race so if someone wants to educate me – I’m all ears.
