  1. Jerry says:

That is awful. This why stem cell research is so important. And the primary reason why Mike Castle doesn’t bother me is his voting record in favor of stem cell research. It’s a key issue.

  2. Donsquishy says:

Mike castle is an empty head that needs to go. I believe KHN is in favor of it too.

come on jerry…send these guys a message.

  3. Jerry says:

I understand what you are saying, Don. Loyalty is important when you are looking at the big picture. But, I kind of am sending a message by acknowledging when some Republicans do show that they can do some good things. If you always discount their efforts simply because of the (R), it can alienate moderates who might see us as being intransigent (just like the far right) instead of sliding our way. That being said, I will probably be voting for Karen Hartley-Nagle this year. She needs my vote.

  4. Donsquishy says:

    Jerry

the guy voted for Bush 80% of the time. What does that say to you? Are you kidding me?

This is exactly the problem. Everyone else is a bad congressman, but our Republican, he was a good one.

step outside the box my man. the guy is how old?

What does he do for Delaware? What has he done?

Oh sorry, he got you some sand this year.

Don’t mind the automaker jobs he can’t keep here. Don’t mind the banks he supports. the bankruptcy law, the war he supports, supports McCain openly,

    geez man wake up.

or go to bed and then wake up after you realize what you are saying.

  5. Jerry says:

You make good points, Don. For the record, my post wasn’t intended to be confrontational.

  6. Donsquishy says:

I didn’t take it as confrontational at all.

just annoyed that this typical problem with voters

  7. Dominique says:

‘the guy voted for Bush 80% of the time. What does that say to you? Are you kidding me?’

That’s really not a bad percentage if you look at every congressperson’s record (either party), especially if you consider that neither party is right or wrong 100% of the time. He’s a moderate. We could do worse.

  8. “how about when he wanted and did give the phone companies immunity for spying…”

Oh, by the way, he voted against the same bill that didn’t have the immunity measures.
