Spreading the transparently ludicrous idea that Markell has something to fear from Bill Lee means it must be a slow news day. DSN & NJ both bit on Bill Lee’s claims that Jack Markell is avoiding Lee.
Although Drew Volturo does circle back to the fact that 6 debates are scheduled for the next three weeks and Lee passed up 10 opportunities to debate Markell.
All in all it is kind of odd for Lee to take this tact given his breezy willingness to blow off face to face confrontations and his utter lack of policy proposals. I mean, imagine what these debates between Lee and Markell will look like; what would they debate? Lee has not offered plans to create a single job or improve the education of a single child. All he’s got is this nextel lawsuit BS that has been debunked six ways to Sunday.
The main stream media is lapping up Lee’s spin. They ought to be asking how the hell Lee expects people to vote for him when he hasn’t told anyone what he would do as governor.
