I’m not sure I understand the question – do you mean the presidential race? The same thing as what?

Yes, I think the media is still flogging the horserace numbers, although we haven’t heard about PUMAs lately. I read that Drudge is cherry picking the polling data to try to show the closest race, and we know Drudge rules their world. Also, some of the TradMed is still showing Obama with 264 or 270 EVs.

Yes. Favorite pundit topics: The Bradley Effect and young people don’t vote.

Actually, I don’t think this is a bad thing. It maintains a sense of urgency which fights off complacency and brings out the vote.

Whatever you’re smoking must be illegal. The MSM might as well lead every broadcast with “ATTENTION REPUBLICANS: DON’T BOTHER VOTING, YOUR GUY LOST”

  4. RSmitty says:

Oof…sorry, Duffy, but those apparently are my blog posts of late…although, I still want Republicans to vote locally.

Cokie Roberts and the odious Juan Williams are working hard at keeping the race close over on NPR.

  6. Donsquishy says:

same thing as the Hilary race

  7. Joanne Christian says:

Of course…they have ratings and a paycheck to consider- but journalistic integrity? Forget about it!

    Must. Sell. Soap.

You see it in the polls….

Obama up by 8-10% in PA, VA, MN is a battleground state.

McCain up in WV and Missou by 4% and it’s ‘lean republican’.

Pollsters over-sample a greater % of republicans (based on party identification) on a consistent basis. Who’s gonna pay for polls when it’s a blow-out? Who’s gonna watch the talking heads up to, and through, Election Day?
