Al Queda Endorses McCain.
Seriously. This isn’t an Onion piece. This isn’t my own personal opinion.
Al-Qaida supporters suggested in a Web site message this week they would welcome a pre-election terror attack on the U.S. as a way to usher in a McCain presidency.
The message, posted Monday on the password-protected al-Hesbah Web site, said if al-Qaida wants to exhaust the United States militarily and economically, “impetuous” Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain is the better choice because he is more likely to continue the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
“This requires presence of an impetuous American leader such as McCain, who pledged to continue the war till the last American soldier,” the message said. “Then, al-Qaida will have to support McCain in the coming elections so that he continues the failing march of his predecessor, Bush.”
Many nervous Democrats feared that bin Laden or some other Al Queda terrorist would release a tape just prior to the election endorsing Obama, just like they did in 2004 (although in 2004 bin Laden said it did not matter who won). None of us ever thought that Al Queda would endorse McCain. Wow. This is not the October Surprise McCain was counting on.

Personally, I could care less who al Qaeda wants to be president. They have absolutely no influence on my vote.
And Spencer Ackerman reports that McCain advisors are freaking-the-heck out over this endorsement, too.
Yep. As they should be, because they were thinking that Bin Laden or Al Queda would endorse Obama.
You know the GOP made a big stink about the Hamas (the political party) endorsement of Obama.
But yes, it doesn’t matter, or should matter, when non-American groups endorse whomever.
Yet the GOP has made such endorsements important to them through their own actions. So I say, take ownership posers!
How many more “issues” can the McCain campaign lose and still be considered a campaign? Guess we toss the Hamas endorsement on top of the experience card and Sarah “Jane six pack” Palin.
And the McCain camp weighs in.

“The McCain campaign is now charging that the terrorists want Obama to win, while pretending they’re not really saying that.”
Why does this remind me of the battle of wits scene from The Princess Bride?
Usually I stay clear of name calling but is that just the stupidest thing to say is that “they really want Obama to win that’s why they said that”. They are a bunch of morons. It wouldn’t have needed encryption if they really wanted to mislead the US in voting for Obama. Wingnuts. Ok. I feel better, sorry if I offended anybody.
