Where’s Karen?
I was getting some press releases for a few days and thought she was getting it going, but it all petered out. Does anyone know what the candidate is doing?

I got a robocall from her yesterday (at work).
Well that is something.
Where is DWA? It has been down for a day now. I think Liz Allen is behind this.
No idea. I emailed Mike earlier tonight, but I haven’t heard back from him. I’ll let you know if I hear anything.

I got an unexpected Facebook invite to be Karen’s friend yesterday (I kid you not), as did some other people I know. Maybe she was busy, typing away at the keyboard.

FYI – I haven’t been able to reach DWA for the past few days at the old “www.downwithabsolutes.com” address that I had bookmarked, but I’ve been able to get there through the link on Delaware Talk Radio every time. I was losing sleep over it. Whenever I need some rest, a small dose of Matthews, along with a New York Times crossword puzzle, puts me into a self-induced coma within minutes.
She was on the air with me for an hour yesterday. You’re just not looking for her in the right places.
We really need a more serious candidate next time around. Like John Carney if he doesn’t get Biden’s senate seat.
No offense to Karen, but I suspect she doesn’t have the needed visibility.

You are all out of the loop. KHN was on Maria Evans show live yesterday in Sussex, then was a speaker a Greenpeace Press Conference in New Castle in the afternoon (see todays paper), and was at a debate in Kent County last night.
Not to mention all the people she met with in between, and that was just yesterday.
What does it matter if you didnt get her new press release, what did you do with others?
Democracy is not a spectator sport.

And yet this is a small fraction of the audience she would reach if she had any money to advertise with.
Making such appearances is great — six months before the election. With twelve days to go, I’ve heard or seen no Karen Hartley-Nagle advertising, I’ve received no mailers, nothing. She is advertising less than my local General Assembly candidates.
Ask any campaign consultant, the idea is to get the candidate’s name heard as many times as possible. Without money, that’s a daunting task.
I think that’s what he meant by “where is she?”
