    I would like to note:

    The article mentions that the Dollar has increased 20% on the Icelandic Kronur…

    In May (when that article is from) Kronur to Dollar exchange started the month at around 70 to 1 – it ended May at around 80 to 1.

    Last week it went to ~122 to 1.

    That is a 50% increase from the end of May… ~70% since the end of April… it got a ton cheaper since the article…

    They are literally asking the World Bank for a bailout… some third world countries won’t take their help because of all the strings attached… they are SCREWED. This is 1929 kind of stuff for them, their GDP is supposed to drop 10% this year…

    I am trying figure out a trip there… I was looking at high end hotels online that are only $134 a night… it is supposed to be a wonderful city to visit.

    Thanks to whomever their George Bush is, he has made that it affordable for me to scratch Iceland from my list of places I want to go!

    Hopefully the Bush Economy will not result in me getting laid off before I go….
