Last week, MillerCoors, the geniuses who tried to persuade Gen-Xers to drink Zima in the early 1990s, announced that it was, at long last, discontinuing sales of the much-maligned “malternative.”

    I always thought that it tasted like drinking orange juice right after brushing your teeth. Good riddance. More room in the cooler for PBR… 🙂

    Mmm…PBR. $2 pitcher lunches when I worked in Philly. Oh, and 2 skinny burritos for $1 more. Damn, I miss those outings.

    You know I have a can of “BillyBeer”, from Carter days. It’s orange, I think. Does anybody remember? Worth anything…a loaf of bread?

    I haven’t had a Zima since the bastards stopped selling Zima XXX in 24 ounce cans. It was only 5.9% alcohol, but the experience could be enhanced greatly with the addition of some gin and a brown paper bag.
