Below are a list of the contested races in the General Assembly. My first thoughts (and of course I will have more later) is that there are only 20 Republicans in the General Assembly now. Yesterday, they had 22 in the House alone. The Delaware GOP has been destroyed. Obliterated. Decimated. If you are a Delaware Republican, there is no hope. True conservatives in Delaware will be better off starting a new conservative party from stratch, for the GOP brand is so thoroughly discreditied that it will be a generation or two before it can recover.
Further, to the Delaware Democratic Party and the News Journal: I will not and do not count John Atkins as a Democrat. The party breakdown in the House is 25 Democrats, 15 Republicans, and 1 Drunk.
