If you like politics and sci-fi – my recommendation is to start watching Babylon 5. It got me and after watching the whole series on disc I started reading the books. OMG! There’s even a savior like Barry in the main characters…
Great trailer. I’ve always been a Trekker and I can’t wait to see this one.
Who knew, back when he was chewing up the scenery, that Schatner would become such a great comedic actor? There are moments in Boston Legal when I simply howl with laughter — especially when he shot the fish.
I just spent the weekend at a cheesy Cherry Hill conference center/hotel to attend a family wedding. There was a Stargate Atlantis convention going on there. The best I could gather from conversations in the elevator was that it is a spinoff of a spinoff and that it had something to do with “wormholes”. There is no shortage of weirdos.
Rebecca, are you a Trekker or a Trekkie? There is a difference.

I own every episode of Next Gen….my kids & I watched it every night for years…..Picard is my hero.
The best sci-fi TV show I’ve ever seen was Joss Whedon’s Firefly…..Awesome, Amazing TV…..I highly recommend finding the dvds & kicking back…..you will be very impressed!!!

I always thought I was a Trekker, but maybe I’m a Trekkie. What’s the difference? I’ve never gone to a convention, if that matters, but I watch the reruns all the time.
This was my father’s favorite show. When I was a kid, you dared not even talk when Star Trek was on or risk getting yelled at. I love all of the Trek shows, but I am a B5 fanatic.
