A 5th planet has been discovered orbiting 55 Cancri. That is a solar system that is located 41 light-years away (a mere 2.41018492 × 10 to the 14th power miles as the crow flies).
Astronomers predict that an Earth like planet will be discovered orbiting a sun like star within 50 years. So, I think we all agree, that it is high time we start working on a huge wall to keep the riff raff from taking out jobs and sponging off all our emergency room services.
I hope I’m still alive when they find it. I think it’s a matter of time until we find another planet inhabited by life as well.
