The merry pranksters over at Lawyers, Guns and Money have up a post discussing the Worst Sportscasters. The list looks too small to me, but I’ll throw in John Madden as my Worst Sportscaster. I’ll stipulate that the guy knows alot about football (and I’ll stipulate that I may be mistaken about this), but he yells at me. And I do take that personally — so I can’t listen or even watch the silly whiteboard play deconstruction. Why is it that alot of noise and lots of talking about pretty much nothing (punctuated with every cliche in the book) counts as highly paid commentary?
