And for the rest of you sheep…

Will you now finally believe that there were NO WMD’S IN IRAQ!

The President has finally admitted the intel was wrong….

“A lot of people put their reputations on the line and said the weapons of mass destruction is a reason to remove Saddam Hussein,” Bush said. “It wasn’t just people in my administration. A lot of members in Congress, prior to my arrival in Washington, D.C., during the debate on Iraq, a lot of leaders of nations around the world were all looking at the same intelligence.

“I wish the intelligence had been different, I guess,” Bush added.

When pressed by Gibson, Bush declined to “speculate” on whether he would still have gone to war if he knew Hussein didn’t have weapons of mass destruction.

“That is a do-over that I can’t do,” Bush said.

I wish your administration didn’t color the intelligence, I guess. Nimrod.

What a dope. He speaks like a dumb 4th grader.

Really, nemski — he should have said “I wish I had never heard of the Office of Special Plans. Or Doug Feith.”

Why has the intel community put up with Bush using them first as a patsy, then as a scapegoat?

I guess because Bush gave them all those new eavesdropping toys…

  5. anon,

you could pretty much insert any branch of government for this statement.

Why has the intel community, FEMA, Military, etc, etc put up with Bush using them first as a patsy, then as a scapegoat?

I don’t even know what to say… I’m so angry I could spit. But there are sure a lot of people out there who owe me (and the others who questioned the entire WMD crap from the beginning) a big apology for questioning my intelligence and my patriotism.

Instead of trying to destroy the U.N. he might have tried listening to them! But this is the Lord of Destruction, destroy everything he touches.

Funny thing is… I am just reading the Vincent Bugliosi book _The Prosecution of George Bush for MURDER_. I recommend this highly. Just remember, there is NO STATUTE of LIMITATIONS for murder. Think Pinochet.

Think about the sons & daughters who’ve come home to DAFB in a box to parents who are still not allowed to film funerals, yet their child died for the lies and greed of this f’n bastard.

    Worst. President. Ever.

I wish, after Obama says, “SO HELP ME GOD”, on January 20th, his next words would be- “Arrest those people”. Heh.

How about a sequel to Enemy of the State starring George Bush? Send Jack Bauer after him

When I hear this, I think of how much work it was during the past two years to dig through buried evidence, shuffle it past a comatose mainstream media, and get the facts into the right hands to change America’s opinion… of course over the whiney objections of the talking point Right…

To have it so glibly admitted at the end, feels like a job well done.

We really were part of something tremendously important.

Whatever happened to that puta of a kid who posted here all the time and supported the Iraq War? Did he ever sign up or did he go to college?

  12. Unstable Isotope says:

    Shorter George Bush: oopsie!

  13. kavips says:

I remember him being hailed over at First State Politics, but I haven’t looked up whether it was Dave Burris or Frank Knotts who hailed him….

He was also published in the News Journal if I remember correctly….

The article was well written, even if about lies… He should have written the case that we went to war for oil…. then today he would still be on the right side of the issue…

  14. I ragged that f’ing kid all the time and was proud to do so…..

The first travesty was the passage of the Patriot Act. I smelled a rat as soon as I saw it.
Go to google “Patriot Act vs Enabling Act.”
The Intelligence was wrong ? Ha! there was a reason Powell insisted that Tennet sit right WITH , on camera, while testifying. He was not going to go down by himself. Wrong ? Hell the knew it was “manufactured”
Now after you read the Enabling act…lets get read of these new Expressions like “Homeland” Sounds too much like “Heimatland”
