Right about now John Carney is probably very happy Minner didn’t pick him.

Why do you say that? I don’t think there’s been any implication of impropriety in Delaware’s pick has there?

  2. delawaredem says:

    I agree, why?

Does Caroline Kennedy now have to turn down her likely appointment to be Senator from New York, for risk that she is somehow, illogically, tainted?

Minner is incompetent and a puppet, but there never was any indication that she is as blatantly corrupt as Blago. The same goes for Paterson in New York.

What? Logic is now a demanded precursor prerequisite for DL posts? I did not get the memo.

don’t think you guys get that our rightwing brothers are going to find everything and anything done by anyone who has ever known Barack Obama, or seen him on TV – is going to be troubling, disconcerting and investigation worthy.

Do we know if Barry is even American? Really? Do we? These questions need to be answered.

I think the selection of Mr. Kauffmann (and nothing personal against him) shows how engineered these appointments are. I am sure if anyone from the national press was paying attention to Delaware’s appointment there would have been a big to-do about it. Paving the way for one’s son (who barely got elected AG despite his opponent’s horrifically run campaign) doesn’t exactly pass the smell test.

John Carney does not suffer from any ethics problems unlike the whole Chicago scene.

Say what you want about Mr. Carney’s time as Lt Gov and his links to Gov Minner he is an honest guy.

I agree that the Biden shuffle is a but distasteful.
