Mike Castle’s One and Only “Plus” If He Runs For Senate

Filed in National by on December 16, 2008

First let me say, Mike Castle is not going to run for the US Senate. Period. Book it. Take it to the bank. He is going to see no profit in spending 12 to 18 months of his life actually working the campaign trail for the first time in 20 years in order to finish his career with a loss to whoever the Dems put up.

It isn’t happening.

However, if he did decide to do it, he would get some National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) money because it looks like very few other serious people in the country will be running for the US Senate in 2010 as a Republicans.

I think there may be a lot of pressure on Castle to run. They don’t have anyone else. If he’s already had a long career I don’t see how he has anything to lose.

So we can have one more chance for the “Great Oz” to ask us to not look at the Republican behind the curtain? Mike Castle has duped this state for years. Why not one more time????
