Tennessee Is More Than Coal Ash
But first the disaster. Tennessee Clean Water Network went the sludge spill to see the devastation first hand. I have seen dozens of photos- but they do not do justice to the devastation of the area. We were on Swan Pond Circle, looking out onto Swan Pond and then, the Emory River. It is amazing. […]

Yes, this isn’t political, but it is fun to look at.
I want to pay more taxes
So do a whole bunch of other people who play poker online. The government is passing up hundreds of millions if not billions in revenue by not regulating and taxing online poker. Anyway, I hear Obama is a poker player, maybe there is hope for a more sane online poker policy under this administration.
It is Good To Know Rich People
That must be what Karen Weldin Stewart is thinking. Her 300 person Hotel DuPont Gold Ballroom swearing in party cost an estimated $10,000. Not too shabby. h/t Mike Mathews was talking about this yesterday.
Deep Policy Thought
An executive order lifting our stupid trade embargo and/or travel ban on Cuba would be awesome.
