What’s Up With All The Name Changes?

Blackwater is now Xe (pronounced like the letter “Z”) and the Religious Right trying to re-brand as well?

Please note that only the names will change. Their actions/beliefs will remain the same.

    Frank Luntz must’ve conducted some focus groups. You know, the guy who suggested that the ‘estate tax’ be renamed the ‘death tax’? Orwell lives.

    Might be fun to come up with some suggested names for the Religious Right to adopt. In the spirit of reconciliation.

    So I guess Blackwater is thinking that if they change their name, the Iraqis won’t know when they get another contract to go back? Besides, I am insulted that they took on the surname (spelled differently) of the excellent Brazilian musician, Tom ZĂŠ .

    And the rightwingnuts? Fundamentalists and fundamentalists everywhere and none of them are especially reasonable or fun. But one of the commenters over at Pandagon suggested the name of ChristoWhacks — which has a nice ring to it.
