One of the fantastic things about living in Delaware is the annual AAUW Used Book Sale that takes place at the Concord Mall. The used book sale begins tomorrow, March 5th, runs until Sunday, March 8th. If you are a book lover and you’ve never had the opportunity to go, do so, you will not be disappointed. If you go every year like me, then just count this as a reminder.

This is the best used book sale in Delaware. Tables are arrayed throughout the mall to accommodate the thousands of books for sale. I make a point of stopping by twice, because they can’t fit all the inventory on the tables.

With all due respect, Tom, I disagree. If you’re looking for literary fiction, I have found some of the individual Friends of the Library sales have far greater selection. One big problem for the AAUW is the relative lack of display space at the mall. If you go today, you’ll see the first batch they put out, but hundreds more boxes won’t be displayed until others are sold. It means that you can’t see the entire supply unless you go back over and over again.

Which reminds me to stop by on the way home.
